| OK, I have this cheap plastic thing that I installed a few years ago on my car. I want to go ahead and get something a little nicer while I am working on some of the cooling stuff. I looked at Summit and was planning on getting the Summit brand aluminum re-circulating can [ http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=SUM%2D300100 ] Initially I thought this would be good but then I was wondering if it is necessary to have a cap on the overflow to fill it with fluid. Looking for a tank that did that I came across this [ http://www.racecareng.com/RCE/index.php?action=4&UID=2004050904013164.68.82.55&group_0=175&ttype_0=Fuel ] This basically says you can use this catch can as the fill point for the entire engine cooling system if the radiator fill point is lower than the engine. You would use this can, mount it higher than the engine and fill the system there. Please help me, I think I am making way to big a deal out of this. If I dont need to be able to add fluid to the catch can just slap me and let me know. For those of you that have lasted this long thank you.
